Junior Engineer

Jeffrey joined NorthStar as a summer intern in 2023 during his senior year at California State University, Chico, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Now a Junior Engineer, Jeffrey is excited to embark on his professional career. Growing up in Riverbank near Modesto, California, he appreciates the wild beauty of Northern California, with its vast, uncrowded spaces perfect for exploration.

At NorthStar, Jeffrey has already made significant contributions. He has worked on two asphalt improvement projects for the Oroville City Elementary School District, drafting site plans with detailed pavement sections for a running track and playground parking area. Additionally, he has been involved in grading pads for new mobile homes in Paradise, CA, aiding in the town's recovery after the Camp Fire. Jeffrey values the learning journey at NorthStar, where mentors are not only available to help but also encourage questions to ensure thorough teaching and understanding.

Outside of his professional life, Jeffrey is passionate about horticulture, enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new food spots, and hiking. If he could master one skill, it would be playing the violin, a testament to his appreciation for beauty and versatility. His persistent and passionate nature drives him to find lessons in every experience, making him a dedicated and enthusiastic team member at NorthStar. Jeffrey believes in the importance of work-life balance and cherishes the opportunities to learn and grow within an interdisciplinary firm.
