The Butte College Science Building, a collaborative endeavor between JK Architecture Engineering and the Northstar Civil Engineering department, is currently in the construction phase. The construction efforts are being spearheaded by Modern Building-Clark/Sullivan Construction, in conjunction with Northstar’s Survey department. This innovative project, unveiled in January, boasts a cutting-edge planetarium, eco-friendly facilities, enhanced classrooms, and interactive study areas.

Funding for this ambitious initiative is sourced from Measure J, a $190 million bond measure, supplemented by the state's Physical Plant and Instructional Support Block Grant. As the project progresses, it promises to elevate Butte College's academic landscape and provide students with unparalleled learning opportunities. Northstar takes pride in its role as a partner in this and several other design projects at Butte College.
